INTRODUCTION
A fast and furious rally through the forests of central Europe. Foot to the floor,
skidding round the bends, you must reach the check point in time.
Through the gears power past the stragglers, the timer is flashing, just seconds left. The
checkpoint is only a bend away, will you make it or will it be curtains!
INSTRUCTIONS
You take part in a night time rally through the pine forests of central Europe. The organisers
have decided that there are far too many competitors in the rally, so they have fitted
all the cars with explosives. These are set on a short time limit, if you do not reach the
check point in time the bomb will go off, and your race will end. You did want to be cremated,
didn't you? The only way to avoid this fate is to keep your foot to the floor, avoid the other
cars on the track and keep racing.
You will need to make use of the gears, keep your eye on the control panel at the bottom of
the screen and whenever the rev counter reaches maximum change up a gear, the gear you are
in is indicated on the gear lever in the middle of the control panel. Time counts down
on the clock on the left of the control panel, when the red quadrant starts flashing the clock
is on its last revolution and you must make the line quickly.
A stage map has been provided at the far left of the control panel, keep an eye on this to
get advance warning of the upcoming bends. Avoid the curbs at the side of the track as
riding over this slows you down, as does colliding with the other cars in the rally.
You score points for distance you cover, and a bonus for the time remaining at the end of
each stage. At the start of each stage a computer controlled cars starts alongside you, if you
beat it to the finish line you will be awarded an extra bonus.
