INTRODUCTION

Rough House 21 is a free-for-all each man for himself basketball game played on a , half court, play-ground hoop.

Game play is continuous until someone makes a basket. Then that person shoots freethrows, when he misses, players battle for the rebound and the action continues!

YOUR ROLE

It's you against five other players. You decide what kind of player you want to be in the CREATE YOUR PLAYER section of this game. When you get a rebound you'll have many options to decide what you want to do.

SCORING

Free Throws: 1pt.
Regular Shot: 2pts.
3-Point Shot: 3pts.
Tip In: 3pts.
The first player to 21 points wins.

FREE THROWS

When you make a basket you will shoot your own free throws by pressing 'S' when the special display shows '*'.

MISC.

* You will always start the game by shooting free throws.

* There is a maximum of 5 made free throws in a row. After 5 the player takes the ball out.

* BOX SCORE is continuously updated.

HINTS

* When creating your player, remember rebounds are important.

* When shooting free throws, anticipate the '*'.

* You will be able to tip missed shots only about half the time.

* If you are able to make 5 free throws all the time you should speed up the display. (Line 350-)

MEET YOUR OPPONENTS

Mugsy - Sweet outside shot. He can light the score board when he gets the ball.

Tyrone - Fast as lightning. He can drive the land and fly like an eagle.
- Free Throws - Good

Butch - A hard banger. He'd rather be hurting people than playing basketball.
- Free Throws - Poor

Norman - Well... awimp. He'd rather be reading the Encyclopedia Britanica.
- Free Throws - Fair

Ricky - A well-rounded player. Someday he might become a play-ground legend.
- Free Throws - Good

CREATE YOUR PLAYER

You will create your player by entering his skill levels in 4 different categories:
Shooting
Tipping
Rebounding
Driving

For each catagory you will enter a skill # between 1 and 5 (1 being poor skill, 5 excellent). Your skill level may equal but not exceed 12!
