World Cup is a complete management strategy game, where you select your squad; try to
qualify and then win the World Cup.
With 39 international teams against you, it's not going to be easy. Watch your opposition,
pick your friendlies carefully, hope you don't get too many injuries. Bring on your youngsters
steadily, to fit your team. Hope the results go your way. Are you the best?
If a draw takes place during the knockout section of the World Cup, the game will go to
penalties. The arrow keys move the cursor up and down. Enter will continue.
To add players to your existing team of 11, go to select team on the main menu. Choose the
'Add Players' option. Place the highlighted bar on your reserve player, ie. midfielder, press
enter. Select a player from the possible players displayed. Then either accept or refuse him.
A maximum of 20 players can be selected, from which to choose your final 11 from. When picking
your final squad for your next game, go to 'Select Team', swap your players around until you are
satisfied with your selection.
To book a friendly match, select 'Diary' from the main menu, then 'Friendly'. You may choose any
team from the list. This team will automatically be inserted into that month as fixtures. NOTE:
only 2 friendlies are allowed per month.
